College Gameday Thread 9/26

Cheer Cheer for old notre dame
wake up the echos cheering her name
send a volley cheer on high and
shake down the thunder from the sky
while her loyal sons march onward to vicotry!

Definitely. They need to blow out OOC teams in Athens. 3 point victories must be seen as unacceptable.
not sure if serious...

the game was a mess. it poured for 2 hours before kickoff and many thought the game would be delayed and then rained for at least 75% of the game. the offense sucked big time (3 turnovers), but the Defense and AJ Green stepped up big time. AJ Green had a second TD that was a blown call by the refs...

Half inspired post in my case because it involved a school rival. But not closing out a road opponent when you had that early lead is a bit startling.

However, I didn't see enough of your game to make any technical assessments of the play on the field.

Glad Cal showed up. Same with the Gophers last week.

at least 3/5 of the top 25 won't be there when the final poll is released in January.

I'm just going to assume nobody watched the UGA/ASU game this week and just looked at the scoreboard.

From keeping up with it online, I got the idea that UGA kept making mistakes that kept ASU in the game once they had a chance to go for the kill. But in the end, AJ Green saved the day. Sound about right?

I saw parts of the 1st quarter. Went to work, they have DirecTV... But don't have ESPNU. :ban:

Watched the replay after, and still can't believe we had the ball at the UGA 21 and didn't score... Lame.
