The Falcons have agreed in principal to trade Matt Schaub to the Texans for a Second Round Pick, and possibly other considerations. I will post the article when I find it.

Correction:
The Falcons and Texans will flip first round picks in the upcoming draft, and the Falcons will recieve the Texans Second round pick, as well as their second round pick for next years draft. GREAT deal for Atlanta, and a good one for Houston.

horrible deal for houston. You can put peyton manning on that offense and they will not be winners. Shaub can't be the star he can be with no offensive line. And what does that mean for David Carr, Who is a top notch QB that hasn't got to perform due to no protection.

why would houston trade for schuab if they already have a good QB in carr?they should have traded those picks for offensive line.

Atleast schaub will get a chance to start. Houston or not.

Well I been waiting for Schaub to leave the Falcons .. I'm a Schaub fan and want to see him shine.....Well going to the Texans ..Might not see him shine ..LOL But atleast there starting well see how the draft goes

i think this was a really good move for the falcons..they got more draft picks but more importantly i think it lifts a ton of pressure of off vicks shoulders, because he doesn't have to worry anymore about being benched for schuab. so great move in my opinion, look for vick to have a good year this year

I think it was good for both teams. The Falcons move up, and will get either an OT or WR. They could even use those second round picks to trade up and get Calvin Johnson! It was a GREAT deal for Atlanta and a good one for Houston.
Ok guys time for me to chime in here...since i live in HOUSTON....David Carr never really got a chance to show what he was made of due to the O.F, line. But ya'll have to stop and think of this also...Texans also have A.Green comming in from the Bay, as the new RB. So i don't see there being awhole lot of passing going on next year. IMO. But also read this morning that schuab and sage will be competeing for the starting QB job. Not just a given to either.
As for Carr i think if he gets behind a good line he will do like Young did when he came to town...he will make Houston wish they hadn't traded him. Just my 2 cents.....

i agree too.. look at dan marino before he retired no offense to block for him either... i wish dan the man stayed a couple of years more.. but carr is a pretty good quarterback.. but he has no protection.....i agree if you put tom brady, peyton manning, michal vick,donovan mcnabb, drew brees ect...they would end up the same way as carr .. on the ground sacked...
