Basketball RIP Eddie Griffin

well I hope you know that was last year that happened.

Not a time to be joking around.

It's always a time to joke around in my book. Just because you don't think it is, doesn't mean it applies to everyone.

Not all of us tear up and get saddened by every single passing. Some of us have seen enough "good" people die that it doesn't even make us blink when someone barrels through a railroad crossing arm and gets killed due to his own reckeless actions.

Everyone is entitled to their opinons, and I am entitled to mine. Period.

wow....Griffin had some personal issues but man thats pretty harsh...
are we saying that alcoholics are not "good" people?

Heck I was upset in 95' when Mickey Mantle died...as an athelete Mantle was obviously superior, BUT as a person? Both had serious personal demons...

BUT hey this is America and you have EVERY right to say what you said...
and I respect that...thats why we have forums.

Also I thought (by most news reports) that he was trying to "beat the train" but he actually passed through the barrier and hit the train about 40-50 train cars in....seems a bit odd...

ESPN - Ex-Wolves player Griffin killed in crash - NBA

IF he was trying to BEAT the train THAT would have been a reckless and silly move...that didnt happpen here...NOT sure what happened, BUT he still died too soon ONLY 25 years old....

I still remember him playing with Seton Hall...RIP #33

I wish nba.com would have a tribute to him by having a picture of him on the picture-slide thing ,but they don't , kinda disrespecting eddie
