person A) calvin johnson leaf limited slide show auto /30 bv-150

person B) marshawn lynch topps chrome auto bv -100, adrian peterson topps chrome refractor bv-60-80 im not sure

yeah i have the johnson right now. I know i am trading down but i really think lynch is a better player plus its a true rc and i might get it graded. I might also get the AP graded and if it gets a good grade flip it..but who knows

the lynch is not a true rookie, its a parallel... but a very popular parallel set... long story short... lynch is a better potential card... calvin is an auto from a set which consistently does not sell well or increase in value compared to similar cards in high end brands.
if you feel lynch has better potential than calvin go for it... especially since rbs always go for more than wr barring mr rice.

ok i see where your coming from the topps chrome rookie autos are the true rookies..i don't see what your saying..its not like a refractor.

The true RC from Topps Chrome is the standard non-refractor. The Auto & Refractor are both parallels. I hope this is easier to understand:
1. Topps Chrome set.
2. Tops Chrome Refractor set.
3. Topps Chrome Rookie Autographed set.

There are 3 different sets but the true RC's are in #1.

LOL... no one knows for sure if it increases like a true rc... topps has only done them for 2 years.... they sell very well because its a popular set, but just because something sells well does not make it a true rc... for example 52 topps mantle or 92 stadium Favre.... if you prefer to think of it as a true rc, thats fine.... it just would not be the view of the majority of the long term collecting public... also, to avoid confusion at future dates, one can always consult with the beckett... if it has a rc after the name... its a true rc... if not... its an insert or parallel.
