Well it has long been rumored that the Knicks would buy him out. However the Knicks' Dolan recently stated that they are not looking to buy out his contract and him just go somewhere else and play. Marbury has also stated that the Knicks would be paying his full Contract and he woudl not negoating. Sounds like Round #2 is coming up soon. Do you think this is going to explode?

They brought up a good point last night on PTI. Everywhere he leaves gets better, but everywhere he goes gets worse. Marbury does have a good attitude right now about this nonsense...

Stephon Marbury said:
"If I'm a distraction and I'm all these different things, why would you want to keep somebody like that?" Marbury asked. "It can't be about the money. If you feel you're better without me, just let me go. If not, let's get down to the business of playing basketball. We shouldn't be talking about me getting waived or not. We should be talking about bringing playoff life back to the Garden like when I got here (in 2004-2005)."

"We need to concentrate on how we're going to win, not whether I'm getting waived or if I'm getting all my money,"

I think he's perfectly right to demand all of his money. A team would demand of their player to play their games if the shoe was on the other foot. New York made their own bed, now they have to lie in it.

Not his fault that they grossly overpaid him. They get what they deserve.

Exactly! If a player wants traded and they hold out, they're looked at as the bad guy. So why would a player let the team essentially do the same thing because they don't want him?
