Letterman Redemption Mail (Topps screws the pooch AGAIN)

Well I just got in my Letterman Draft Pick patch redemption, and I am honestly amazed. I thought that Topps would be able to get these right given the fact that the redemptions came out months ago, and these just started shipping in the past couple weeks. I was wrong.

Seriously how do you screw up a MANUFACTURED patch? It's not like they took these from jerseys or anything. Brandon Rush was traded on Draft night to the Pacers, so how in the hell does Topps get the bright idea to make these patches Trailblazers colors? He's in a freakin Pacers jersey in the little picture down in the corner for Bob's sake! And to top it all off, the card has surface damage along the left border. Good riddance Topps. You ****!

In other Topps news I did get another 1/1 auto in today. I wish I could actually give this my full attention and just be happy about it, but this Letterman crap has me irritated to say the least.

Sorry for the rant. I'm just a little irritated right now. I'm sure I'll be happier later today when UPS comes.

Definitely a Blazers patch...wow...has anyone seen if the Bayless redemptions are in Pacer colors and style? I know the trade wasn't "official" for a few weeks after the draft because of the sign-and-trade stuff, but if they can get the Pacer logo on there, surely they could have manufactured some Pacer patches for the guy...

...but awesome 1/1 on the hardwood dude...master set boo-yah

No kidding! They even had him holding a Pacers ball and crap on Draft night. Even so, these redemptions came out well after the trade was finalized so the cards couldn't have been produced already. Basically Topps is going to ride out their legacy of stupidity in the modern era, all the way to the very end.

Maybe we could send our cards back to Topps and they could rectify the situation. Wait a minute, this is the same company that sends cards in semi-rigid holders, so that they can be damaged beyond repair by the time we receive them, then refuse to do anything about that. Topps is the devil.
