He wasn't a HOF talent, but made a HOF move that no one else would even consider in pro sports. Turned down Millions just to serve his country.
 
Not a HOF player, sad story about a courageous young man. Very honorable what he did, but not a HOF football player.
 
Yes he should be, player wise, not so much, but he and every man/women who serve their country should be a HOFer! If not a HOFer, than for sure is a hero and a great man I would of liked to meet!!!
 
I went with yes...but mainly its because i think he should have some sort of recognition in the hall...maybe not a bronze bust like the HOF players get, but some sort of memorial to let future generations know about his sacrifice.
 
anyone who says no doesn't realize what he gave up! Millions of dollars, and he sure could of been a HOF talent guy was sure good on a horrible team!

Giving up millions of dollars does not make him a HOF'er. It's the hall of fame,not the hall of average like baseball has become. He was a great person off the field for the sacrifice he made,but that does not equate to being placed with the all time greats
