This pretty much says it best.

Its like Lebron VS. Kobe in the NBA. Kobe has the postseason hardware, and Lebron lays more eggs then anyone else. Well though his team is garbage around him.

Tom Brady has all the Postseason awards, done it without the ProBOWL WR's. While Peyton has 1 ring, and 1 superbowl MVP, he has choked time and time and time and time again. With the Talent he has had on offense, he should be the one with 3 superbowl rings. Not just one.

And look who OWNS who in head to head matchups. Pretty much when they play each other its a huge game. Its a Rivalry game. Who would you take?

Id take TOM BRADY ALL DAMN DAY!

Head to Head stats.
Here’s how they compare in their regular season and postseason head-to-head contests.

Tom Brady–205/314, 65.3-percent completion, 2,275 yards, 17 touchdowns, 11 interceptions.

Peyton Manning–228/381, 59.8-percent completion, 2,761 yards, 16 touchdowns, 23 interceptions.

------------------------------- From an article a Read.

Therefore by the slimmest of margins I believe that Tom Brady is the best quarterback of this decade. That said there is one more season in the decade. Can Peyton Manning catch Tom Brady this season to win that honor?

I believe he can. Peyton Manning doesn't need to do anything more in the regular season. He has the advantage in regular season statistics and awards. Even if Brady came back from the knee surgery and threw 60 touchdown passes and 5,500 yards the advantage would probably still be with Manning in those departments.

What Manning needs to do is lead his team to the playoffs. He then needs to not only guide his team to the Super Bowl, but also play well in doing it. He needs to have more touchdowns than interceptions in the postseason. He needs to raise his level of play. If he were able to lead his team to the Super Bowl and put on a top ten all-time level performance on the biggest stage it would even their Super Bowl MVP count at two for the decade. It would also give him a historic performance in that game. He would also only trail Brady by one ring.

Given Manning's big advantage in regular season statistics and awards and a narrowed gap in postseason success it would be pretty hard at that point not to give the honor of the decade's best quarterback to Peyton Manning.

However, if Manning has his typical 4,000 yard passing season with 25 to 30 touchdowns, but lays another egg in the Colt's first playoff game it seems hard to believe that he could be considered the best quarterback of the decade, especially if Tom Brady goes on another postseason run coming off serious knee surgery.

Brady is a good pick put way to risky he needs to prove he has recovered from the injury before regaining his #1 spot. Patriots shouldn't be cheating anymore as well so he will lose his extra offensive opportunities and some field position. The game is tougher on offense, when your defense does not know the other teams plays ahead of time.

Head-to-Head Brady is clearly a better choice, but do to the fact his team cheated. I'll go with the #2 guy who did not need to cheat to achieve his accomplishments.

Questions are, did the cheating really give them the winning advantage and would he really be that much better without cheating.....:eek:ld:

Here is a great post from a dolphins fan in regards to a conversation between Marino & Brady. I found it rather comical and decided to share it.

Hey Tom your #1 in the All-time Who gives a FU*CK QB list with all the half *** QB's who won a SuperBowl that absolutley nobody will remember or cares about, because they sucked and were nothinbg but High School QB's...Tom Brady - Phil Sims - Jeff Hosteddler- Ben Rothlisberger - Trent Dilfer ...

Tom...Maybe the "Hall of fame" will actually credit you with at least one of those Adam Venitierei SuperBowl wins ...or should I say Super Bowel Toilet Bowls...

Say the guy cheated is getting pretty old.

I mean he still has to play the down, throw the ball, and make the play.

I mean its not like he made himself invisible to the Defense.

I will say Peyton Manning he has been stellar his whole career despite playing with good recievers he reads defense the best out of any player he does everything hes suppose. If the Colts had a defense they would win it every year. Look at the years with no defense the colts would score 40 points and lose.

as far as Brady goes he imo is good but not the best. He had one of the best defenses I have ever seen. He had guys like Ty Law,brushchi vrable etc. Not to mention adam Vinitieri he has made so many key field goals in his career that have ulitmatly led to the Patriots dynasty

When Viniteiri left the Patriots who won the SB the Colts and what team did he go to enough said

Go back and look at his stats in the playoffs.... he performs worse underpressure than McNabb did.... Peyton is horrid in must win games.... Pennington deserved the 2008 MVP 10x more than Peyton did, everyone was too busy talking about the WildCat to see the numbers Pennington put up without Gonzo, Wayne and Dallas Clark... running an offense with a team he got thrown in in the beginning of the season... in a division that was a lot better than the Colts play in... and I am a must send first trader because I got ripped off by a former Mod on this site.... its nice to hear opinions from people who just speak without ever trying to find the facts.

rthats the dumbest thing I have read thus far. Peyton came off major surgery. Was down 1-3 and came back 12-4. He is the best I dont care who hes throwing to they still have to perform. As far as Eli goes he had one of the best defenses I have seen. along with great runningbacks

Im sure this has been brought up marino but how many times did Marino win a ring 0 he is still considered to be top 5 so rings arent everything as already mentioned Football is a team sport if your QB does bad the blames on him if your QB does good he thought as a god so its an important position but defense wins championships!

Fun reading the arguments, but it is like the Emmitt/Barry argument. I wonder how good Brady would be on Peyton's team, and how good Peyton would be on Brady's team. With all that time to throw, Peyton would make the poor WR's look better too, inversely, Brady would look great have two complimentary WR's to boot.

Thinking about it, how many Colt's 3rd and 4th WR's have looked great with Manning throwing to them, and then been crap when they go to another team?

I really think that Brees is overshadowed by losses due to being on crap teams (good players here and there though).

Again, if I was a team owner, I would be happier than a pig in poop to have Peyton, Brady or Brees as my starting QB. As for the best, I think anyone with good Football knowledge would agree that they are all great QBs.

That is correct his team cheated it happened, just like his super bowl rings. Are you gonna forget he won three rings? Cheating gave his team the advantage. He threw the ball just not as much and as far.

He has yet to prove he can win it all without his team cheating....
