Racing Earnhardt Jr. cleared to race at Martinsville

With him all but out of the chase race, I don't understand why they are rushing him back so quickly? Another crash could really affect his racing future, and with Regan Smith doing a nijob subbing for Dale Jr, I don't like the move to put him back in the car the rest of the year.

They dont want him to get scared and lose the confidence he gained throughout the year.

He's already scared, hence the comments about Talledega, and Daytona plate racing. This year is over for him. Nothing positive can come out of racing the rest of this year. He gets in another wreck this soon after his concussion, and he may never race again. Who cares about his confidence this year. Everyone starts off the year confident at Daytona. What happens over the next 3 races has little bearing on 2013. Besides, I doubt very much he's over his concussion so soon. These guys will lie, and say anything to get back in the car. He needs to take some time off, and get better. He whacks his head again this soon, and his career could be over. Not worth the risk for so little reward, IMO.
