    Per Box Items:
    18 packs per box
    9 cards per pack
    autos and relics 1:7 packs
    short prints 1:8 packs

    ITG Sell Sheet

The base card fronts feature a color action shot of the named player. The simple graphic on the left border contains the set logo and name, player and team team name. The team or league logo is located in the lower right corner. The card backs are photo-less. The gray and white backs contain moderate biographical information, last season's statistics, and moderate career highlights

    What I pulled:
141 base cards 141/199 base set cards = 70% of the base set.
    2 autographs
    3 relics
    15 puzzle/dummy cards

    Base card front and back:

    3-D short prints:

    The Hits:
    Brody Silk auto
    Rourke Chartier auto
    Alexis Pepin relic
    Morgan Klimchuk relic
    Olivier LeBlanc Nameplate 1/1

Admittedly, I am not a big hockey guy, much less non-NHL hockey. Not having a NHL or NHLPA license dis not stop ITG from putting out a nice product. The base set card design is simple and clean. ITG always seems to produce nice relic cards. The autographs are sticker autos. However, the cards are designed to fit them well. This product may only appeal to hockey collectors and prospectors at that.

    The Bottom Line:
I give 2013-14 ITG Heroes and Prospects a buy rating. You should be able to complete the base set with two boxes and some light trading to to make sure you get the short prints.

    The Final Score:
    Final Ratings (Out of 10):
    Base set collect-ability: 7/10
    Big-hit Hunter: 8/10
    Prospector Hunter: 8/10
    Value: 9/10
    Overall Quality: 9/10

    Overall: 41/50 (82% = B)

Great review, Tal! thanks for sharing it with us. ITG always delivers the best bang for your hobby dollar. It's a shame they have not been granted an NHL licence.
