    Per Box Items:

The 250 cards of the base set are standard issue size. The card fronts are bordered in white and mostly feature posed, color photographs of the named player. Most of the pictures are bust shots with only a few actions shots included. the team name is centered along the top of the card front with the player name and position located along the card bottom. The card backs are photo-less. The horizontal backs are orange and off white and include moderate biographical information, moderate career highlights and complete minor league statistics.

I am not usually a big fan of throwback style cards but 2013 Topps Heritage Minor League is not bad. The simple and clean design is very appealing. The photography is simple but it fits with the throwback set design. I also enjoy the fact that the inserts are limited giving more base cards towards the set. The stated odds for the hits was right on the the orange border was a great pull. Not really holding anything against the overly simplistic design, the one real knock I have against 2013 Topps Heritage Minor League is the redemption autograph. There are a lot of redemption cards in this product.

    The Bottom Line:
I give 2013 Topps Heritage Minor League a buy rating. One box and light trading should provide the complete base set. The serial numbered parallels will provide a fun chase. Buy a box and trade your tigers cards to me!

    The Final Score:
    Final Ratings (Out of 10):
    Base set collect-ability: 8/10
    Big-hit Hunter: 8/10
    Prospector Hunter: 10/10
    Value: 8/10
    Overall Quality: 10/10

    Overall: 44/50 (88% = B)

Thanks to Topps for making this review possible!
