2023 MVP Buyback

Hey all,

I know you’re all aware of the MVP buyback program that Topps/Fanatics is doing again this year with Chrome, but Ohtani’s injury had me thinking….who in the AL could steal it with him only hitting now.

Acuna Jr. and Betts are a two man race to the finish as far as I’m concerned in the NL, but willing to hear you out on other candidates too.

Just don’t want to sell off a base card on Sportlots that might be $20 in a couple months.

Man…I think if Seager had been healthy all year he would have a shot…he has been really impressive!

I've read a few stories that suggested Ohtani is still a virtual lock to win based on his performance up to the injury.
Some other suggested candidates were, Kyle Tucker, Luis Robert, Marcus Semien, Cory Seager and Adley Rutschman.
I was wondering this as well and am inclined to believe it will still be Ohtani, but watch Robert and Tucker as they have been coming on.

i think seager is the only person who could take it from ohtani

I still think Ohtani has it locked up at this point, but getting closer every day
