Hockey Goalie Fight!: Hockey Post of the Day 2/10/11

Are there two more exciting words in hockey than Goalie Fight? I doubt it.
This one didn't quite live up to last week's undercard of Brent Johnson and Rick DiPietro, but still worth a look:

and that whole game was out of control. 187 Penalty minutes. 14 goals. Wowsers. Boston has been in some crazy exciting games recently. It'd be a lot of fun to see them play right now

Brent Johnson broke that guy's face... He's out 4-6 weeks with facial fractures.

This one was much more a pillow fight, but you take what you can get.

Yeah Dipetro's cheap shot on Cooke was what set it off who I believe is also out 4 weeks.

... with a suspension. For another dirty hit. If there's one guy in the league who deserves to have goalies taking cheap shots at him it's Matt Cooke.

got ya. Fact is if you square up keep you hands up. Off Topic Dipetro is the most overrated goalie lol. Love him or hate him there are spots in the NHL for guys like Cooke. BTW Tyutin saw him coming. Doe snot make it any better but Steckel's play on sid was cheap too and he is not a dirty player. NHL baby at its finest.

Funny I got Cooke, Brent Sople, Jarku Ruutu and Jody Shelly jobs working security at the Marilyn Manson show(when he 1st got big) why they were on the Bluejackets minor league team the Syracuse Crunch. The protesters outsside were crazy and inside the fans were nuts Pretty sure the only one that could handle himself was Shelly if any of them got into anything. . What a couple of twerps.. That being said when I took them to meet Manson they were loving it.
