Football Source: Seahawks, Avril agree on 2-year deal

The Seattle Seahawks have reached agreement on a two-year, $15 million deal with former Detroit Lions defensive end Cliff Avril, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Avril... I knew the Lions weren't going to try to keep him, but I am surprised to see the Seahawks offer up a 2-year $15 million contract to the guy that had so many off-sides last year that even the Lions couldn't remember which side of the line he played on!
