seriously how is Chicago vs Washington a rivalry game?...when i think NFL football rivals i think..

Chicago vs Green Bay
Oakland vs Kansas City
Dallas vs Washington

...thats IT...if i am missing something please speak up, but in my 25+ years of watching football THOSE are the BIG games i dont care if one team is undefeated and the other hasnt won a game all year, its a BIG GAME and circled on the schedule

You didn't think of Chicago and Washington as a rivalry? Dang man, you need to watch some more NFL films.....Bears/Redskins ranks right up there with the Saints/Chiefs and Steelers/Cardinals :roll:

I agree. I think their basis was that the teams played each other in four championship games from the late 20's to 1940. Beyond that, I don't see it, and it's tough to maintain that kind of rivalry without much else for almost 70 years.
