Baseball cards at a police auction

It's not a place I'd think of to hunt down rare baseball cards, but this article makes it seem like it might not be a bad place to look.

That is sort of interesting. I never would have thought about looking in such places myself, but it makes sense. People donate stuff that they wouldn't otherwise donate to these types of charities and causes, so who knows what you'll find...including baseball and other sports cards!

Very interesting. I had never seen a police auction have that kind of stuff. The guy that had it seized had assembled quite a collection.

Oh yeah, duh. You meant a police auction where someone's stuff had been taken when they got arrested or something...ugh...ignore the blonde moment! Anyway, it could have been in the person's house or car when they got arrested, I'm guessing.

The police usually have this kind of thing once a year to get rid of all the stolen, and unclaimed items accumulated over the year. Usually, the biggest volume of items are bikes, and tools, boasts, and even cars.

Ther one who made bank on this was the idiot they paid $7500 to authenticate the signatures. What a waste of money!
