Chicago forward Luol Deng left the Bulls' game against the Miami Heat on Friday after spraining his left ankle while attempting to grab a rebound.

Deng did not return and the Bulls went on to lose 90-77.

Deng landed awkwardly with 7:52 left in the third quarter, tumbled to the floor and grabbed the area just below his left knee. He was eventually helped off, while putting no weight on that leg, and immediately hobbled into the Bulls' locker room.

Including Friday, Deng is averaging 13.3 points in 26 games for the Bulls, who have been without point guard Kirk Hinrich for most of the season because of thumb surgery.
