RALEIGH, N.C. (AP)—The Carolina Hurricanes activated defenseman Dennis Seidenberg from injured reserve Wednesday after he missed four games with a leg injury.
The Hurricanes also placed defenseman Anton Babchuk on injured reserve after he injured an elbow over the weekend against Washington.
The 27-year-old Seidenberg leads the team’s defensemen and ranks fifth on the team with 13 points.
Carolina begins a two-game road trip Thursday at Philadelphia.
