Iginla posts 2 goals, 3 points in Flames’ win

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP)—Jarome Iginla scored two goals and assisted on another, and Dion Phaneuf set up two goals for the Calgary Flames, who beat the Nashville Predators 5-3 Thursday night.

Greg Zanon, Jordin Tootoo and Jason Arnott scored for the Predators.

Rene Bourque, David Moss and Michael Cammalleri had the other Flames goals. Calgary was outshot 14-4 in the scoreless first period.

The Predators struck twice against goalie Miikka Kiprusoff in a span of 19 seconds in the second.

Zanon gave Nashville a 1-0 lead when he fired a one-timed shot from high above the right circle that went into the top right corner of the net at 5:42.

At 6:01, Jordin Tootoo skated into the left circle and beat Kiprusoff to a similar spot to make it a two-goal edge for the Predators. Arnott made it 3-0 at 8:10 when he scored from the slot.
