Jeff Burton will drive a partial schedule for Michael Waltrip Racing next season, the team announced Monday afternoon.
Burton, 46, was left without a ride for 2014 after it became clear there was no room for him at Richard Childress Racing, where he had spent the last 10 seasons. But the veteran will be able to stay in the Sprint Cup Series -- at least part-time -- by racing and testing MWR's No. 66 car (formerly the No. 56).
So far only ONE (1) race is on his schedule for next year, but hoping he can get sponsorship to do at least half of the races!
