OK so my scanner is being one major PIA and I was really looking forward to scanning these!!!

and an interesting story. Awhile back I did something I generally do not do and traded a Seahawks card away that I did not have doubles of. It went to a fellow Seahawks collector who had been looking for one for a very long time. Low and behold, another popped up!

ON TO THE SHOW!

First one I've been to for about 2 years. 40 Table at the Supermall in Auburn. Most sellers were pretty easy going. As usual, a few sellers felt their cards were laced with gold and would not budge. Here is my haul for the beginning:

So I thought I had seen all the tables and went back to a guy selling boxes. Against my better judgement I bought a box of 09 ABsolute and 09 UD Draft. I was leaving the show when I saw a table I missed and wouldn't you know it, HE had all the good Seahawks cards! :doh:

I decided to open the boxes at that table since he said he would trade if I got anything good.

What that you say? I missed 2 absolute hits and 1 UD Draft hit? Well... the UD Draft 5th auto was a Chris Wells Scouting Report auto 20/25. The other two absolute hits were a Glen Coffe insert RC jsy auto/25 and a triple patch of McNabb, WEstbrook, and Greg Lewis/25.

I traded those three cards for these two....

2006 Exquisite Lofa Tatupu 3 color patch auto #d 4/10!!!!!!!!!!! This along with the Tatupu Ultimate 2 color jersey auto/15 are my new corner stone Tatupu cards!



Also I was able to find one more Cornerstone card. I am a huge Darryl Tapp fan so getting this card was unreal for me.

Yeah it was on ebay. I paid out the nose for it though. Now I finally, finally have a true 1/1 of my favorite player. If the Championship Ticket ever surfaces, I will not go after it though. With all the work you put into getting those, I would feel like crap if I somehow got it.

With my kid I only can do the full search twice a week so I miss a few things

Yeah Champ Tix are the ones I probably wouldnt back off on for another collector at this point. Im still ticked off I paid/won the Schmitt and never got it.

Was it the seller huskyseahawk? I very much dislike him. When I talked with him he said he was a die hard Seahawks collector who was thinning out his collection. I believed him and bought a crapload. Came to find out later he continues to buy Seahawks to put in his store. I don't care that he buys to resell (well...not much) but lying about it?
