It's nice to know there's a forum dedicated to this sort of thing! I started collecting as a teenager when an uncle introduced me to baseball and football cards. I have to admit, I wasn't really a fan of sports back then, but as my collection grew so did my knowledge and interest in all sports, not just baseball and football. This is more a casual thing for me and more for pleasure than profit.
Anyway, I hope to relax and be of use here, and perhaps trade sometime in the future.
