Toronto center-forward Amir Johnson was suspended for one game without pay by the NBA on Wednesday for throwing his mouthpiece at a referee in the Raptors' loss at Portland on Monday night.

truly amazing...if this had been a NFL player, the guy would have been suspended for at least two games, investigated for being part of a "Referee Bounty Program", fined six-figures, and forced to enroll at the Ndamukong Suh School of Etiquette.
