Yes he should be, player wise, not so much, but he and every man/women who serve their country should be a HOFer! If not a HOFer, than for sure is a hero and a great man I would of liked to meet!!!
I went with yes...but mainly its because i think he should have some sort of recognition in the hall...maybe not a bronze bust like the HOF players get, but some sort of memorial to let future generations know about his sacrifice.
Giving up millions of dollars does not make him a HOF'er. It's the hall of fame,not the hall of average like baseball has become. He was a great person off the field for the sacrifice he made,but that does not equate to being placed with the all time greats
