GotGibson?

Alright FREAKS...need some opinions.

I am going to the 30th National next year in Cleveland. I know it's still really far away, but I am trying to get an estimate on how much money I want to take with me. Being 16 I need to start saving now. While I plan to get a bunch of Gibson while I am there, I also want to get some things just to have in my collection.

That is where you guys come in. Just post about 5-6 cards that you think every collection should have. Maybe an auto of a player or a certain RC of a player. Just post it! :D

Please no MJ auto, RC or a LeBron Exquisite RC. Those I know for sure I will not be able to get.

Garnett Finest RC, Kobe & Lebron Chrome RCs, Griffey Jr. UD RC, an Exquisite RC of your PC player, and at least one TRUE 1/1 of your PC player

Call me dumb but I think every basketball collection should have these 4:
David Robinson 1989-90 Hoops
Shaq UD RC
Webber Finest RC
Nash Finest RC

As far as you favorite player for PC:

Rookie Year low #d Jersey swatch
Rookie Year low #d Patch
Rookie Year Base Auto RC (Finest, SPA, Etc)
Rookie Year #d Base RC (Reflections, Hardcourt, etc)
Rookie Year refractor (or XRC refractor)
Finest XRC (if applicable)
Any year true 1/1

On the Vintage front Bernard King RC is very very cheap. Look at the years his scoring was #2 behind Jordan. And any basketball collector should definitely have one really nice Pistol Pete, Earl the Pearl, Julius, Bill Russell, Big O, Havlicek, Alcindor, and George Mikan.

You can get one of these for like $2-$3 dlvd. off ebay.

I've never seen one grade higher than a 9. The guy from beckett that was trying to put together the entire set graded BGS9.5 didn't even have one. He had a BGS9 and a couple BGS8.5's.
