Wilson was my favorite player when i was a little kid..I think it was the innovation of the safety blitz that made me like him so much...It was the reason yours truly played free safety in the Pop Warner leagues.

#31 in your program...#1 in your hearts..hehe..:bag:

Oh yea :monkey:

I didn't realize he was athletic as he was. I knew him for his toughness and his hits but the guy could move.

My favorite players growing up were Newsome, B.Golic, Bo Jackson, and of course Emmitt Smith.lol

I'm more an 80's kid but didn't really appreciate the game till the late 80's/early 90's. Before that I only knew about the Brown's players.lol

60's and 70's had some great players and great games.:party3: From what I have read.lol

Another player I would add to the HOF is Packers LB D.Robinson. I've seen him described as better than Nitschke.

again, you have another 60's era Packer that probably did not get in because they have already put half the team in. Robinson was good and is on the 60's All-Decade Team, but only went to 3 pro bowls. Over shadowed by Nitschke also.

I agree, Ron. Its sad that the voters have just stopped inducting guys like Kramer and Robinson b/c the Packers have too many great players.

Not a new pick-up but a player that would have been a HOF'er if he hadn't of wasted time in the USFL. RB's only have a few prime years and Walker missed a few playing in the USFL rather than the NFL. IMO he would have been a 12,000 rusher if spent his career in the NFL.
