Football Panini holding back big money cards?

You are comparing apples and oranges. UD and Panini 2 different things. Furhter more everyone knows higher end is kept back a little. Please see why UD has failed.

Please see whay the guys in Taiwan got all the awesome UD exquisites baseketball hits.. Because it is UD and it coincides with your last statement

How is that apples to oranges? Two companies in the same industry doing exactly what it takes to keep certain people happy! Its all the same.

Outside of this hobby, its reffered to as lobbyism. The only difference is there is no law stopping them from lining the pockets of those who drive their product.

UD and Panini are both sports card manufactuerers with the exact same goals. To turn profits. To assume they wouldnt use the same tactics is like trying to sell me the idea that sub prime mortgages were a good thing and the banks were not to blame!!

the biggest hits of each product should never be held back. How hard is it to make sure 4-5 cards actually go out in packs?

I totally agree. Holding back some things..sure. The sam was the "Biggest" hit in the product, which would logically be the biggest selling factor for the wax. Nothing like buying wax for case buster to find out that they had no chance of pulling the big money cards.

But he hasn't opened certified to justify the Bradford

Yea i cant verify that part.

But isnt it common for card companies to ask you for a list of players from all sports to fill replacements? I remember UD doing that as well. You could have pulled a bunch of basketball replacements and threw mickey mantle and arod in as replacements. That could have possibly happend.

Maybe there is some sort of story behind how he got these, whether he bought/traded for it and made the deliberate attempt to say he got them as replacements to cause drama. Who knows. I always thought the guy hated panini and said he would never crack their junk

Absolute bullshit.

This is where Topps wins.

I know someone who pulled a AP Auto Chrome RC out of a blaster box.

I heard(pretty sure read the thread on beckett) of someone hitting the Adam Morrison Topps Chrome Auto RC Superfractor 1/1 out of a blaster at Target..

Not worth crap now, but at the time, it was easily the #1 card in the product and it came from RETAIL.

I dont know on this but I think it actually happens quite often that big cards are held back. I remember when Fleer went out of business and they were trying to settle their redemption problem. At least 3 people that I know of received the 00 Fleer Emmitt Smith Autographics Gold version /50. Not as huge a card as this is by any means but a pretty big card from that era. Sad if its true but something seems a bit weird. If its false, isnt this what defamation of character is?

Oh I was asked many times during the UD run of what I wanted as a replacement. Nothing ever came nearly close to the level of the Bradford when all was said & done.

I still think there's alot more to it and him not wanting to reveal what he got adds fuel to it.

I've always thought he was an a$$,and I love seeing all the HK members running to BO to defend him

that whole part where he dont want to tell what the redemptions were , Also if hes lying isnt that slander or something . I would watch my A#$ if i was that guy im sure panini has good lawyers

that site is now full of douche bags with no hobby knowledge or experience. They latch on to the crotches of a few buyers with a bit of coin and treat them like gold. Its like a highschool there, patting one another on the back and protecting their elite who shill bid and steal.

Swift is a bit of a character. He is adding to the fire by not representing the whole truth. The only part that bugs me is these are actual replacement held back from the product.
