Ah. Would make sense that's him with all the negative feedbacks left for overcharging on shipping.

I won an item from him last year and refused to pay $19 shiiping on a $300 item. He tried forever to justify the reasoning and it didn't work. Left me my first neg on ebay over it and ebay took it off in 2 seconds

I was banned from there for the longest time because me and one of their gods didn't get along. All over him out bidding me on a 1/1 lettermen that I wanted for my JOSH SMITH collection at the time. I was chasing all the 1/1 lettermens. Those of you that know me, know that I onced had the MITH.. All 1/1's. On military salary, and my wife pregnant with my 2nd child, I couldn't compete with him. I can't remember that dudes name for the life of me.... Thats how much I care for him.. But its one their gods who has the coin to waste all on cards and thinks he owns the card world.

edit or you get cuaght shilling or you do not pay for your auctions that is the only other reasons. SHADY. My guess he robbed ebay from fees on those last few 1k transactions

Swift loves the attn and won't man up. There is nothing to sort on panini's end. The sharks have already done their feeding. So goes our society that believes everything they read in the internet

If it is a so called trust issue Swift has none in this hobby.

I only things collectors should take from this is just how much trust they're putting into these card companies. I just hopes it opens some eyes.

It's not about whether panini did do this, or swift lied. The fact that Panini could do this is all that matters. Stuff has been backdoored for a while, but you can always blame that on the employees. If expensive cards are held back, it should be disclosed so that everyone knows.

they're all obviously holding back cards under the guise of 'replacements' but I can't believe they've never been called to task.

Maybe collectors just like being naive, I don't know.

UD set the precedent for the back dooring... Manufactures have to keep back a few high ends for situations. If the collectors are naive then shame on them

Its actually against the law. You cant market and promote a product and claim to have substance and a chance of attaining it by purchasing the product, then go out and say it was never in the product. Thats a blatant phishing scam, which is ilegal in all industries.

You related this to gambling. I agree its just like gambling. But the ONLY difference here is.. In gambling, if I win (I am given the oppurtunity to do so), the casino pays me out. In the case of Panini products, Im giving the oppurtunity like they say to "Win aka hit the big money card", I will NOT be paid out because it doeesnt actually exists. Thats the problem. You really had no chance. Imagine a casino tells you, ..."Play Carribean Stud poker, hit a royal flush and you might win the $300k jackpot". Thats not guarenteed. If you hit the royal you get paid. There are rules, regulations and a ton of laws when it comes to gambling to regulate it. Yet there are no regulations for the card industry. Thats whats missing. No one is reponsible for lieing, cheating and stealing.

Panini basically advertises and states you have a chance of pulling these cards. But they know full well you cant pull the card because its not in the packs. Thats false advertising. Imagine buying a scratch off lottery card with a chance to will 10 Million dollars. But then it was public knowledge that there was no $10 million winning ticket, that they held it back because of emergency replacements for awry tickets? That would make it ilegal. Just like winning a lottery and not getting paid.

As for the guilty till proven innocent? Our society has always been that way. Eventhough the law states innocent till proven guilty. Its not so. When Im arrested and charged, I get held against my will, put in jail. Then I go to court to prove my innocense. Till I prove whether im guilty or innocent, I rot in a holding cell..exactly what a person does when they are guilty of a crime. Its always been guilty till proven innocent for all charges.
