ok..this is a regular season award..and in the regular season the MVP goes to the best player on the best team, becasue without their best player they aren't the best team any more..dirk was the MVP of the regular season. since the award was based on regular season, i think dirk deserved it. it goes to the player who makes his team better and is important to his team. it shows that he is very valuable to his team becuase, he played horrible (in the GS series) and they lost the series. so he is very valuable to them. he deserved it.
